Scientific and Agricultural Research Center Mural

We were tasked with transforming the exteriors of three separate buildings at a Scientific and Agricultural Research Center, using the purposes of the buildings and the values of the center as guidelines when approaching subject matter and composition. The first two buildings depict local wildlife such as hawks, barn owls, wild turkeys, foxes, and crows. The larger building is the aquaponics lab, so we illustrated bluegill fish swimming across the length of the wall. We used a sophisticated style to portray a variety of themes while still maintaining a sense of consistency. The center emphasizes protecting the environment, utilizing fish waste as fertilizer for better plant growth and cultivating the presence of biodiverse species.
